Extreme, thrilling, and show-stopping! These are the words that best describe performances by the team of acrobats known as The Dunking Devils. With their amazing stunts and extreme dunking, the team has taken the world by storm. They’ve also set two Guinness world records and gone viral with more than 250 million views.

The Dunking Devils: Early days to present

This success story began in 2004 when four friends decided to share their love of acrobatic dunking with the world. Soon they wanted to do more than just jump on a trampoline and dunk, so they came up with more and more thrilling ideas and extreme projects.

Today, The Dunking Devils is a synonym for

“never before seen nor done”.

They’ve always followed their dreams and worked hard, and the team today counts more than 60 members of all ages and genders, including 25 professional acrobats.

The team continues to believe that dreams do come true and that anything is possible if you do it right. The Dunking Devils Academy was established to pass on the knowledge to its youngest members. Everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, is welcome to join.

Extreme stunts that have blown the world away

The Dunking Devils have performed more than 2,000 times in 50 countries around the world. The team holds two Guinness World Record titles, namely Farthest Basketball Slam Dunk From A Trampoline and Highest Forward Flip Trampoline Slam Dunk.

The team’s performances are always energetic and passionate. This is also true of their other adrenaline and show-stopping projects that are blowing fans’ breath away all around the world.

Here are just a few of them...

Bounce Bridge Ljubljana

Bounce Bridge Ljubljana was a trampolining spectacle organized by The Dunking Devils and The Extrem Agency. The whole project was thought out by Slovenian innovators. It featured the largest trampoline in the world, 13 x 13 meters, called Supernova, and a Trampoline Bridge, the first one ever, which was 22 meters long, designed and made by the Slovenian trampoline manufacturer Akrobat.

The only question that still remained was whether the highest jump would take place on this trampoline. The Dunking Devils were of course the only team that could answer that question.

Acrobats from all across Europe participated in this event. The Dunking Devils performed the opening show, full of spectacular flips, twists, jumps, and several other tricks that wowed the crowd. The event held a competition for the most spectacular jump both on a regular-sized trampoline of 5 x 5 meters and on the mega trampoline. Last but not least was the highest jump competition. The winner jumped 11 meters high and set a new world record for the highest trampoline bounce.

Extreme jumps 30 meters off the ground

The Dunking Devils didn’t stop with trampolining on the River Ljubljanica; they also set up a trampoline in Sežana that was 30 meters off the ground. The only thing preventing the jumpers from falling was a thin safety net. A crane was used to hold the trampoline, and the jumpers performed their tricks and jumps while bouncing 10 meters up in the air.

The Dunking Devils don’t do simple, so they created a 12 x 12 meter trampoline for this project. The trampoline consisted of 36 nylon tensioning belts, 300 steel springs, a 50 m chain, and a 50 m wire rope. Even the crane’s constant moving and the net bouncing did not stop The Dunking Devils from heart-stopping flips and other hair-raising jumps.

Extreme trampolining on a hanging trampoline, under a bridge

The Dunking Devils have proved that anything is possible with their extreme idea to hang a trampoline off a bridge and do tricks 10 meters above the water. Acrobats from Austria, Hungary, and the Netherlands were invited to participate in this event.

However, they had to earn their jump first by climbing up to the trampoline, which demanded great physical fitness. The hanging trampoline served as a vault board for breath-taking stunts, flips, and jumps straight into the water.

An amazing performance during an NBA game

The Dunking Devils don’t just do extreme, they are also thrilling and fun. They often show off their skills during basketball games, and one such opportunity was the halftime show during a game between Denver Nuggets and Luka Dončić’s Dallas Mavericks. Before a cheering crowd, The Dunking Devils proved once again they are the best at their craft.

Extreme stunts on a moving train

For this project, The Dunking Devils teamed up with Slovenian Railways. They prepared a spectacle on a moving train by installing BMX jumps, an Olympic trampoline, a Russian swing, and a pool that held 70 tonnes of water.

The project was quite a challenge, and the result was by far the most epic video the team’s ever done. It went viral instantly, with more than 4 million views in the first 48 hours. The stunts, dunking, and trampolining that The Dunking Devils do are already extreme on the ground, let alone on a moving train.

Trampoline Sandwich

The Dunking Devils named this project “The Trampoline Sandwich”. They placed trampolines between and on containers and created a freestyle trampoline park with a massive trampoline wall. The acrobats performed all the crazy stunts, flips, and tricks they usually do in a trampoline park.

With their innovative ideas, The Dunking Devils have become great promoters of trampolining. Trampolining is increasing in popularity so much that it’s become a culture and a way for sports enthusiasts to express themselves. But what is of key importance for all extreme Dunking Devils projects are high-quality and safe trampolines, made by the Slovenian manufacturer Akrobat, known for its effective trampoline development and manufacturing.
